NOVEMBER 18, 2016 FRIDAY 5 PM - IT'S A SMALL WORLD, AFTER ALL

I did not make it to the fireworks last night, as I was providing the sound system for GARDEN CITY CARDIO DRUMMING...who is also running a Food Drive for area families in need.

I left briefly during the session to answer nature's call and on my way back, another of our drummers met me in the hallway...but not in her workout clothes. I teased her for playing hooky, but as it turns out she was just dropping off a food donation for the drive....... and low and behold she said she missed class to go to the fireworks at Hines Drive!

DECEMBER 3, 2016 SATURDAY 3 AM - MEET US THERE / WE'LL BE THE ONES RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THOUSANDS OF SCREAMING FANS

This weekend is the annual CHRISTMAS IN IDA festival, which we discovered a few years ago and have been attending ever since. From their promo: "From a small craft show, children's lunch with Santa, and a three-unit parade the festival has become a family tradition and Midwest destination where over 52,000 visitors attend the weekend event."

On Saturday night there's a country concert by LITTLE TEXAS, fireworks, a parade, and the always silly HOLIDAY HOUNDS ON PARADE withs dogs competing in special outfits all trying to out-do each other. It's a total scream!

If so, you're in luck because tomorrow night Friday May 12th 2017, the legendary HOUSE OF FEAR will spring out of its coffin and haunt up a storm at the return of: HALFWAY2HALLOWEEN MONSTER BOOLESQUE SPOOKTACULAR 2 at TANGENT GALLERY in DETROIT. www.halfway2halloweendetroit.com
